Lending and credit application walkthrough

Personal loan, credit card, and BNPL apply-flows carry income fields, CCRIS consent, and cooling-off copy. We read the path an employed applicant actually survives.

A loan apply-flow is not a checkout. Income, employment, existing facilities, and the CCRIS-related consents sit in the middle of the path. Applicants who would take the facility still leave when a payslip upload has no example, or when a “continue” button sits under a consent they have not yet understood.

Who it is for

Bank and lending-app teams whose approved-but-not-disbursed numbers, or started-but-not-submitted numbers, are the actual problem — not advertising reach.

Result

An annotated apply-flow for one product (personal loan, credit card, or BNPL) including pre-qualification, full application, document upload, and the wait for a decision. We record where the applicant is asked to leave the app for email or a branch.

Constraints we respect

We do not advise you to hide a required disclosure. We do mark disclosures that appear after the applicant has already typed salary figures, which is when many people feel trapped rather than informed. Cooling-off language is checked for placement, not rewritten as legal text.

Three weeks is typical when document upload is in scope. From RM 16,200. A second product (for example card plus personal loan) is a separate walkthrough.
