e-KYC and identity path review
A focused reading of MyKad capture, selfie liveness, address proof, and the retry loop that quietly ends many Malaysian applications.
Identity is where finance apps in Malaysia lose people who fully intended to finish. The applicant has the MyKad in hand. The lighting in a kitchen in Kepayan is not the lighting in your studio test. The vendor times out. The app says “try again” without saying what failed.
Who it is for
Teams whose drop-off concentrates after “verify your identity,” or whose operations queue is full of cases that never reach a human reviewer because the applicant abandoned the retry.
Result
A step-level note on capture, liveness, document quality messages, and the hand-off to manual review. You will know which messages blame the applicant for a vendor failure, and which retries have no exit except closing the app.
Scope
One e-KYC path in one product. Includes the failure states you can reproduce. Does not include a security assessment of the vendor, nor a recommendation to switch vendor unless the screens themselves make completion impossible.
Duration and delivery
Two to three weeks. Remote walkthrough with your staging build, plus a short briefing. Starting fee RM 12,500.
